Well it’s a trend – cupcakes on Friday.
This hydrangea cupcake is so beautiful I wouldn’t be able to eat it.

A few weeks ago I was telling my husband about this great idea I had for a waterproof watch. Something really simple, like a jelly bracelet (or these days silly bands), but still stylish. The main purpose being time keeping, a secondary purpose would be to set a “reapply sunscreen” alarm. Something cheap that if I lost it in the water I wouldn’t be sad. It was my greatest idea yet!
Within a couple hours I started reading Glamour magazine and all my hopes and dreams were shattered. They were advertising the Rumba Time Watch.

A silicone watch that comes in a variety of colors (32). The watches are water-resistant to a depth of 99 feet. And are $20. The Rumba Time Watch was my idea – there goes my fortune – better luck next time.

These sprinkle covered ice cream pops with a surprise candy bar center look delicious! The recipe sounds easy, but I’m just not convinced.

Now that you’ve said “what the….?” I just read about a wakaresaseya in the July issue of Marie Claire, so until recently I would have said the same thing.
So what is a wakaresaseya? Essentially a professional “breakup artist”.
A wakaresaseya is hired by wives in Japan to entrap their husbands to ensure a better divorce settlement. Unless a woman has proof of infidelity or some other wrongdoing they get nothing. In comes the wakaresaseya (who makes $200,000 a year), who can make a big difference in a divorce payout.
There is a first encounter, for example, asking for directions. And then a second “coincidental” encounter with an invitation to a bar. And then you get the picture. In fact the wakaresaseya takes pictures and when necessary has sex with the “mark”.
I’m sure you could get a wakaresaseya in the U.S. In fact I’m sure that people have used some form of a wakaresaseya in the U.S. But I feel like it would go by a different name and be a less respected profession here, so don’t quit your day job.

How yummy does these chocolate bars look? And the best part is they are custom. You can choose your chocolate – white, dark, milk, combo. You can choose from over 100 fruits, nuts, spices, confections, decor and grains. What about milk chocolate with gummi bears and mini sugar bananas? Or dark chocolate with jalapenos and bacon? Oh the possibilities!

My best friend Laura gave birth to a baby girl on July 3. Little Moon Photography took these adorable photos of 5 days old Virginia.
She’s so squeezable!!!! She was 9.5 pounds, 21 inches when she was born! Now is when you say, that’s a big baby. The impressive part is that Laura did it au natural – no drugs – she’s my hero!

How a-freaking-mazing are these shoes? Oh my gosh the heel is sky high and I love it (which my husband will find impossible since I kick mine off as soon as I get home)! And leather that looks like lace, that is a work of art. I originally saw these on a model in a magazine and they look even better on the foot. The skin peeks throw the intricate design and bellisamo. I’m not a shoe whore, I don’t go ga-ga for Louboutin’s – I usually don’t spend over $50 for a pair of shoes – but $1100 for this pair is very, very tempting.
