I read this quote in Glamour magazine and loved it so much that I had to share.
“An older woman told me something that stayed with me. I asked her how she stayed married so long. Her reply, ‘We never both fell out of love at the same time.’ I love that, because no matter how much we want to deny it, there are times we want to throw our boyfriends or husbands overboard and vice versa. But as long as someone is trying, then you can make it.”

For Valentine’s Day all I asked for was a box of chocolates. Kenny went above and beyond and got me these beautiful, awesome and unique chocolates from Co Co. Sala. Flavors include PB&J, Pear Caramel, Curry Coconut, Java, Orange and so on.

For Valentine’s Day I made Kenny a yummy dinner. I actually got the recipe from Cosmo magazine and it was really good. We had an argula salad with a dijon vinaigrette (I made it) and lobster pot pie. The lobster pot pie was a lot easier to make than I expected and very delicious.
For dessert we had rum laced chocolate fondue with star fruit, strawberries and cheesecake for dippers. The star fruit looked pretty but not really that great. You can never go wrong with strawberries and chocolate. We used the Sara Lee Cheesecake Bites and they were the perfect size and so easy.

Last weekend Kenny’s boss hooked us up with tickets to the Caps game. I say “hooked up” because the tickets were for the company suite, which means good seats, free snacks and free BEER!!!!! It was our first time to a professional hockey game and it was so much fun. We will definitely be going back.
I noticed during the game that this guy two suites down from us looked just like David Gregory from Meet the Press. So I started stalking him and strategically taking photos. In the first photo you only see half of Rachel, she was pretending to pose for a picture and in reality I was trying to take a picture of David Gregory. In the second picture you can kinda see him. Afterwards we did find out that it really was David Gregory so my stalking wasn’t wasted.
