On Saturday Kenny and I went into the city to check out the Cherry Blossoms. We first stopped by the Japanese Festival. It was extremely crowded but we got to check out some of the tents. There were tents with food, info about Japan, how to write calligraphy and make origami. My favorites were the stereotypical Japanese tents: karaoke and DDR. There was a stage with different musical performances. We caught this one group – a little odd, OK, a lot odd.
On the way to the Tidal Basin we saw these beautiful tulips in front of the EPA. Glad to see they are concentrating their efforts on their home turf.
It was a windy day so there were a lot of kite fliers around the Washington Monument. I love this picture!!!!!
And yes we finally did make it to the Tidal Basin. The Cherry Blossom’s were beautiful!
The best information i have found exactly here. Keep going Thank you
