NICK NOLTE’S HOUSE HAD A “FRANKENSTEIN-STYLE SCIENCE CHAMBER” AND A “DANCE DANCE REVOLUTION ROOM”
Everybody kind of suspects that NICK NOLTE is a pretty bizarre guy. This won’t change that perception …
“Premiere” magazine toured Nick Nolte’s home before it burned down Tuesday, and they saw some pretty interesting things … like a “Frankenstein-style science chamber” and a “Dance Dance Revolution room”.
The home itself is actually a mini compound made up of about SIX homes. Nolte moved into one of them back in the ’80s, and acquired the rest over time.
Nolte’s “lab” is set up so he can monitor the condition of his blood. It’s full of IV drip bags, hospital-grade oxygen canisters and computer screens … which sit beneath a cardboard cutout of Jesus.
Apparently, Nolte tests other people’s blood, too. He got a sample from ANG LEE when they did the first “Hulk” movie.
Nolte told “Premiere” that Ang Lee’s blood was FASCINATING … and it “shimmered” like no one else’s he’d ever seen.
He said, “You watch white cells surround bacteria. You see the death of things. It’s better ‘n television. His blood was glorious.”
As for his Dance Dance Revolution fixation, Nolte said, “We all have hand-eye coordination but not eye-foot. This machine challenges you to find a whole new set of learning muscles.”
Sadly, Nolte also spoke about how much he loved his home … saying, “This is where I’m going to die. And then after I’m dead, this is where they’ll bring my casket and where I’ll rest in peace.”
(–Authorities say the fire was caused by a faulty printer in Nolte’s home office. The fire caused more than $3 million in damages. Some reports say the whole house pretty much burned to the ground.)
Darcy sent me the above article and I am so flabbergasted by it. First and foremost, a DDR room, who does that? That’s worse than Candy Spelling’s wrapping paper room. Really, an entire room for DDR and I will stop there before my entire thought process comes out.
Next, who gives their blood to Nick Nolte? What is Ang Lee thinking when Nick Nolte is like “I have this lab in my mini compound and I check out people’s blood and I would really like yours.”? CRAZY
Lastly, whose home catches on fire and causes $3 million in damages because of a faulty printer.
I’m just baffled and now my rant is over.
