I love to read. I enjoy being whisked away into my imagination. Sometimes it’s exhilarating. Sometimes it’s educational. Sometimes it’s relaxing. Sometimes it occupies my time. But mainly it makes me happy. Kenny does not get it at all. He doesn’t enjoy reading. I could read 100 pages in the time it takes him to read 10. He hates it and he doesn’t get why I love it. But I do!
Right now I am reading Book Two of the Inheritance Cycle. This is my second time reading the book, which completely throws Kenny off. The story is about dragons and their riders. Go ahead, get all the nerd and dress up jokes out of the way. The book takes me away from reality and into a make believe place. A place full of magic and battles and hope. I love it and of course recommend it to anyone. Especially people who enjoyed Harry Potter (LOVE) or Lord of the Rings (HATE).
