Yesterday Kenny and I went to Maryland to visit the Eckelberg’s and Shaun and Katy. First we went by to see Angie, Travis, Jon and Baby Ashlyn. Ashlyn was a little fussy and Kenny was not a fan, he takes it so personally if she cries while he is holding her. He’s so sensitive!!! I toughed out the cries and held her for about 20 minutes. She is super cute, but very wiggly!
Then we got to check out Shaun’s big apartment in the dorm at John Hopkins University. His apartment is about the same size as our condo, but free. But he does live with a bunch of Freshman, which can be annoying. Especially when the fire alarm goes off at 9:30 Sunday morning. It makes me appreciate my mortgage as I’m heading with the herd to the street in my pajamas.
The four of us went to Nacho Mama’s in Baltimore for dinner and drinks. This was one of Kenny’s stops on his Bachelor Party night. The cool thing about Nacho Mama’s is that they serve margaritas in hubcaps. They are VERY, VERY, VERY STRONG but extremely delicious. After two hubcaps between the four of us we attempted to go bowling, but they were closed. Which in hindsight was probably a very good thing. So then we headed to the bar Max’s, which was another stop on Kenny’s Bachelor Party Night. This place has 72 drafts and 300 bottle beers. I had a Lambic Frambroise on tap!!!! It was the first time I had ever seen that and it was delicious!!!!
After Max’s we went back to Shaun’s place. Katy and I passed out and the boys walked the streets smoking cigars.
